Distances
The event features the following race distances:

For each distance, there are separate in-person categories for US citizens/residents and international participants, as well as a virtual-only option.
Location and Course
The event is held at Fort Hamilton, described as one of the oldest operating military bases in the United States. The course is a looped layout within the base grounds, with the Half Marathon consisting of 3 loops, the 10K of 2 loops, and the 5K of 1 loop. The start and finish are at the same point inside the base entrance. The route offers views of the NYC skyline and the Verrazano Bridge, which is noted as the longest suspension bridge in the Americas.
The course is described as mostly flat, well-marked, and easy to manage. It is accessible by car, bike, foot, subway, or bus.
Event Features
Support stations with water, Gatorade, and gel packs are available approximately every 1.5 miles. The entry fee includes a technical t-shirt and a finisher's medal. Live chip timing, live online tracking, and post-race photographs and a personalized finish line video are provided. There is an awards ceremony for top finishers.
