Nittany Valley Running Club Boalsburg Turkey Trot
The event is scheduled for Thursday, November 26, 2026, with the Pennsylvania Military Museum in Boalsburg, PA serving as the start and finish location. Early packet pickup and registration are available the day before at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Academy. Race day packet pickup and registration take place at the Pennsylvania Military Museum.
Courses begin and end at the museum and run along local bike paths and neighborhood streets near Mount Nittany Elementary and Middle Schools and Saint Joseph’s Catholic Academy. Distances offered include:
- 2 mile course
- 5K course
- 8K course
Prizes are awarded to the Top Three Overall, Top Three Male, Top Three Female, and to age group winners. The event has an active results history with posted results for multiple years, including 2013 through 2025, and a virtual edition in 2020.
Organizers aim to raise $12,000 to support both girls and boys teams for three seasons: Cross Country, Indoor Track and Field, and Outdoor Track and Field. A portion of funds will be donated to the Friends of the Pennsylvania Military Museum to support preservation of the military legacy of Pennsylvanians and to local youth running programs.
