Nutley Chamber 5K & Kids Fun Run
The Nutley Chamber 25th Annual 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run takes place on May 3, 2026 at Nutley High School Park Oval, 300 Franklin Avenue, Nutley, NJ 07110. The event includes a community 5K plus short distance races for younger participants and on-site registration and bib pick-up on race day.
Distances and age groups
- Short Sprint : oval field, open to age 5 and under
- Kids Fun Run : 1/4 mile on the oval, open to ages 6 to 8
- 5K : open to runners, joggers, and walkers
Fees and registration details include standard and team pricing: Short Sprint and Fun Run fee is $5 or free with adult 5K registration; 5K fees are $35 if paid by April 26 and $40 from April 27 through May 3; 5K teams of 10 or more are $30 per person when registered by April 26. Pre-registered participants receive a free T-shirt. Fees are non-refundable.
Awards and race information 5K trophies are awarded 1st through 3rd overall for male and female finishers, with age category first place awards through 70+. Short Sprint and Fun Run participants receive medals. The 5K course is described as slightly challenging with a water station approximately halfway. The event is rain or shine. Complimentary refreshments, bottled water, and door prizes are provided. No strollers are allowed on the oval field and no pets are permitted in the oval complex.
