NSRF NYC Strawberry Fest 5K & Half Marathon at Prospect Park
The Never Stop Running Foundation Strawberry Fest offers in-person and virtual race options on May 24, 2026, at Prospect Park, Brooklyn. The event starts and finishes at the Grecian Shelter, also called the Peristyle, and uses park paths for the course.
Distances:
- 5K : USATF certified 1-loop course around Prospect Park.
- Half Marathon : four loops of the same course with a 2:45 finish cutoff and a requirement to start the final lap by 2:05.
On-site amenities include an informal bag check area, bathrooms within a few minutes walk, finish-line hydration, and post race refreshments provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Participants receive a medal and event tee. Pacers are available to guide half marathon participants.
In-person registration options and a virtual participation window are offered; virtual entrants have a week to record and submit times and may receive mailed race items. Bib mailing is available for an additional fee if requested in advance. Race standings and age-group recognition are posted online, with top placements tracked by age group though no awards ceremony is indicated. Street parking is available on Parkside Avenue and public transportation options serve Prospect Park.
