About the race
The NSRF NYC Strawberry Fest in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, is a community running event offering two distances and a virtual option. The in‑park course uses a USATF certified 5K loop in Prospect Park; the half marathon is four laps of that loop. The event meets at the Grecian Center, also called the Peristyle, and finish and bib pickup are located at the Grecian Shelter landmark.

Race logistics and amenities are listed for participants. There is an informal bag check area in the staging zone. Bathrooms are a few minutes’ walk from the start and finish. Hydration is provided at the finish line, and post-race refreshments are supplied by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Participants receive a medal and a tee. The half marathon has a cutoff time of 2:45 hours and requires runners to begin their final lap by 2:05 hours; runners must cross the finish mats on each lap for accurate split times and photos.
Bibs may be mailed for a fee if requested in advance, or picked up in person near the Grecian Shelter. Live online results, finish line photos, and same-day video are provided. One hundred percent of donations benefit the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
