About the race
The NSRF Long Island Turkey Trot is a community 5K run/walk held on November 21, 2026 at Eisenhower Park Field 2, Parking Lot 2, East Meadow, NY 11554. The event offers an in-person 5K and a virtual 5K option; virtual participants may upload times and up to five photos during the week following the event, and virtual race gear begins shipping on the event start day.
A free Kiddie Dash is offered for children. Registration includes options such as bib mailing prior to the event for an additional fee and purchase protection for an extra charge. Race fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. A portion of proceeds and any donations benefit the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports athletic and charitable events.
On-site amenities listed by the organizer include an informal bag check area, bathrooms within a short walk from the start and finish, post-race hydration at the finish line, and refreshments provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Age-group online recognition is planned with overall top finishers for M/F/X and top finishers in multiple age brackets from 14 and under to 90 and over.
