Novi Memorial Day Run
The Novi Memorial Day Run takes place in Novi, Michigan, at the Novi Civic Center area. This event serves as an unofficial start to the summer season and coincides with the local Memorial Day Parade. The race is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation, with results made available live during the event.
Participants can choose between two main distances:
- 5k Run/Walk
- Mile Fun Run
All participants receive a finisher's medal upon completing their respective distances. Cotton t-shirts are provided to those who register by the early deadline of May 1st. Awards are presented to the overall male and female winners, as well as to the top male and female finishers in various age categories ranging from 18 and under to 70 and older.
The event supports the Novi Parks Foundation, with a portion of the registration proceeds donated to the organization. Early packet pick-up is available at the Novi Civic Center during the week leading up to the race, and registration options are available online.
