Northport Downhill Mile
The Northport Downhill Mile is a certified one-mile running race held in Northport Village on June 13, 2026. The course runs through Main Street, starts at the Brosnan School Building (north side) on Laurel Avenue, and finishes at Northport Village Park on the waterfront where awards are presented.
Registration information and fees are provided for the event. The base registration fee is $25, increasing to $30 after June 12, 2026 at 1 PM and $30 on race day. Participants 18 years of age and younger may register without a fee. Registration opens on March 30 and closes on June 12. Entry is limited to 500 registrants. Bib pickup is available only on race day at the start area.
Race results are timed by SRC Timing Services. Awards include top three overall female and male finishers and top three finishers in five-year age groups for female and male competitors from ages 5 to 99. After the race, the awards ceremony takes place at Northport Village Park by the water. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
