Northport Downhill Mile, Northport NY
The Northport Downhill Mile is a certified, downhill one mile running event held on June 13, 2026, through Northport Village. The course runs down Main Street and finishes at the waterfront in Northport Village Park. The organizer describes the event as family friendly.
The start is located at the Brosnan School building on Laurel Avenue and the finish is at Northport Village Park, where awards are presented after the race. Timing is provided by SRC Timing Services.
Entry fee is $25 per person, with a higher fee for late and day of registration at $30. Participants aged 18 and younger may enter for free. Registration opens March 30, 2026 and closes June 12, 2026. Registration is limited to 500 entrants. Bib pickup is available on race day at the start area only.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, and to the top three finishers in age groups for males and females in five year increments from ages 5 to 99.
