Race 4 Northants 5K Series 2026 - Brigstock
Race 4 of the Northants 5K Series takes place at Fermyn Woods Country Park in Brigstock on Wednesday 12th August 2026. The event is sold out.
The series features multi-terrain 5 km races through parks and woodlands; this is the third year the race is held at Fermyn Woods, an ancient woodland south of Corby. All finishers receive a bespoke 5K race medal, with a different design at each race. Runners who cannot attend in person may complete the race virtually and receive the medal by post, provided they are signed up to that race.
Entry fees are shown as £15.00 or £17.00 with a booking fee of £1.50; the lower fee applies to UKA-affiliated runners. Parking at Fermyn Woods is limited and will be pre-paid; the park parking charge is listed as £3.50. Organisers advise car sharing where possible.
The minimum age is 11 years; 11 and 12-year-olds must be accompanied around the course by an adult entrant. Route maps will be uploaded to the Northamptonshire Sport Event Hub before race day. Race packs and race numbers for the whole series are collected on race day at the red Nsport gazebo. A mobile medical crew will be on standby. Toilet facilities are available and the park cafe will be open before and after the event.
