NTMC Halloween Hustle
The NTMC Halloween Hustle is the 29th annual running event held at North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville, TX. The event offers in-person 5K and 10K races on a USATF certified course and a virtual option that allows participants to complete a route at a location of their choice.
In-person participants receive a goodie bag from sponsors and an event t-shirt; registering by Friday, October 10 guarantees a chosen shirt size. Virtual participants receive an event t-shirt by mail after October 25 and a finisher certificate on which they can record time and date; virtual entries are not eligible for additional awards.
The event uses digital timing with live results posted immediately after the races. Awards include plaques for top male and female finishers in each distance, a plaque for the business and the school with the most entries, and medals for first through third place across multiple age brackets. The 5K and 10K each use specific age categories to determine medalists.
Packet pick up takes place at North Texas Medical Center in the days before the event and on race morning. All event proceeds benefit the North Texas Medical Center Foundation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
