North Devon Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K
The North Devon Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K is a coastal running event organised by North Devon Hospice, scheduled for Sun 28 June 2026 at Woolacombe Meadow Playing Fields, North Devon EX34 7BT. The event is for over 18s and is registered with the Fell Runners Association (licence numbers 2025-9138 and 2025-9137).

The event village at Woolacombe Meadow provides race registration, toilets, a merchandise stand with event tech tees, a massage tent staffed by Petroc students, a bar and post-race complimentary cream teas for participants. There is no on-site parking; nearby public car parks include The Esplanade, Woolacombe Bay Central, Sandy Burrows and Marine Drive. Vehicles and belongings are left at the owner’s risk.
Course support includes 12 designated water stations, visible marshalls with direct contact to first aid, and medical cover provided by Apex Safety on bike, foot and by ambulance. The full marathon has a cut-off time at 5pm; back markers will support runners still on course. The event operates staggered starts by distance and uses chip timing with bibs issued at registration. Dogs are not permitted to run with participants but are welcome on leads in the event village. Fundraising is requested with a suggested pledge of £30 to support hospice care.
