Event Details
The North Bay Road Race is a road running event scheduled for a Saturday in September in North Bay, Ontario. The event offers three main distances: the 5 km, 10 km, and half marathon (21.1 km). A one-mile kids' race is also featured.
Course
The start and finish are located at the Heritage Carousels at 230 Memorial Drive. The course takes runners along Memorial Drive, which is closed to traffic, and the Kate Pace Way multi-use pathway. The half marathon route also goes out Booth Road. The event is described as "Northern Ontario’s fastest road race."
Practical Information
Early packet pickup is available on the Friday before the race (location to be determined), with race-day kit pickup also offered. A free race shirt is provided for registrations completed before a specified cutoff date (referenced as August 8 for the 2025 shirt in the text). Registrations are non-refundable. Transfers are available until the day before the race for a fee. Participants are advised to purchase cancellation insurance.
