North Bay Road Race
The North Bay Road Race takes place on September 12, 2026 and offers multiple road distances plus a free children’s event. Race formats are out-and-back courses that use paved streets and the Kate Pace Way multi-use pathway along the Lake Nipissing waterfront.
Distances include:
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 21.1 km (half marathon)
- 1 mile Kid’s race, free for kids of all ages
The 5 km course begins on Memorial Drive and follows the Lake Nipissing waterfront, connecting to the Kate Pace Way after a water and electrolyte aid station. The 10 km follows the same scenic route and continues along the flat, paved Kate Pace Way to its turnaround. The half marathon extends further along the Kate Pace Way onto Booth Road and Birchs Road, with the final section following a Kate Pace Way connection toward Callander.
Event logistics noted on the organizer page include kit pick-up and online race-day registration, mapped parking with Memorial zones listed as open and Oak Street as overflow, and a course aid closure time. The 2026 event lists YMCA Fill The Bus as the charity partner; every registration includes an automatic donation and there is an option to add a donation during registration.
