NOBLE 5K Run/Walk - Prospect Park
The NOBLE NY Chapter 5K Run/Walk takes place on October 4, 2026, at Prospect Park in Brooklyn, meeting at the Grecian Center (the Peristyle). The event is presented in partnership with Power in Wellness Health Consultants and is framed as a wellness experience that brings together law enforcement, community members, educators, youth, and wellness professionals. It honors the life of an NYPD detective who was killed in the line of duty.
The program includes an in-person 5K and a virtual participation option with a posted window for submitting times and photos. The course is USATF certified. Amenities listed for attendees include live results by text and email, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for registrants who register three weeks in advance. The first 100 registrants receive a swag bag. Bib pickup is available in person starting one hour before the event; virtual bibs are mailed the Monday prior to the start date when applicable.
Awards are planned for top male and female overall and top three male and female finishers in age groups: 10 and under, 11 to 17, 18 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 54, and 55 and over. Registration options include an in-person 5K, a virtual option, team entries, and donation only contributions. The event is scheduled rain or shine.
