About the race
The Noble 5K Run/Walk is a community wellness event taking place on October 4, 2026, at Prospect Park in Brooklyn. The meeting location is the Peristyle (Grecian Center) near Park Side Avenue and Parade Place.
Presented in partnership with a public health firm focused on equity-driven, culturally relevant wellness programming, the event combines physical activity with mental health resources and community supports. It brings together law enforcement, community members, educators, youth, and wellness professionals and honors the life of a fallen NYPD detective; portions of proceeds support the chapter scholarship established in that memory.
Participation options include in-person and virtual formats. Registering three weeks in advance makes a personalized bib available. The first 100 registrants receive a swag bag. Results are provided live online, by text, and by email, and finish line photos are available at no cost. The course is USATF certified.
Awards are listed for Top 1 male and female overall and Top 3 male and female in age groups including 10 & under, 11-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-54, and 55+. Virtual participants may upload times and photos during the event window. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
