Event overview
The 2025 Noah's Ark Reindeer Run is a festive one-mile fun run taking place in Whitchurch Village, Cardiff on 6 December 2025. The event will return to Whitchurch Village for the tenth and final time. The event programme includes merchandise and t-shirt collection, street performers, festive food and drink, a live music stage, appearances by Santa and Mrs Claus, elves and pixies, a Christmas parade and a festive finale. Participants who attend in person will receive a limited edition names t-shirt, reindeer antlers and a flashing nose (collected entries only). A postal option for virtual participants includes the t-shirt only and will be dispatched on Monday 8 December 2025.
Charity, entry and rules
The event benefits the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity and aims to raise £15,000 through participant sponsorship and donations. Donations made at registration may be doubled through the Big Give Christmas Challenge. Entry fees are subsidised by local supporting partners. Key rules state that all under-11s must be accompanied by a paying adult, only registered entrants may take part in the one-mile run, and registration fees are final and non-refundable. Participants may transfer their entry to another person until Friday 21 November 2025. In case of dangerous weather, organisers may postpone, shorten or cancel the event for safety reasons.
