No Sto Defeats MSA 5K Trail Race and Fitness Walk
No Sto Defeats MSA is a fundraising event held Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Wheeler High School and the adjacent town recreation field in North Stonington, Connecticut. The course uses athletic fields and wooded cross country trails and offers an outdoor run and walk through early fall scenery.
Event options include:
- 5K on the Wheeler High School cross country trail
- 1 Mile fitness walk on field, track and trail
The 5K is professionally timed with custom bibs. Prizes are awarded to first, second and third place finishers by gender in each division. Age divisions span from under 8 through 80 and up. Free on site child care is provided for the 5K. Participants receive a free tee shirt while supplies last. All registrants who attend will be entered for raffle prizes donated by local businesses.
Registration opens June 14, 2026. Pre registration by September 20 offers a five dollar discount. Fees are twenty five dollars for the 5K and fitness walk, and twenty dollars for a virtual support option that allows participants to walk or run on their own schedule through October 3, 2026.
All proceeds support Defeat MSA Alliance, a nonprofit that supports patients, educates medical professionals, raises public awareness, nurtures research and advocates for the MSA community.
