No Sto Defeats MSA 5K Trail Race and Fitness Walk
This community event takes place on September 26, 2026 at Wheeler High School athletic fields and wooded trails, 297 Norwich Westerly Road, North Stonington, Connecticut. It includes in-person and virtual options and supports the Defeat MSA Alliance, a nonprofit focused on patient support, professional education, public awareness, research, and advocacy.
Offered event types and distances:
- 5K field, track and cross country trail run
- 1 mile fitness walk on the Wheeler High School cross country trail
- Virtual support option to walk or run at a chosen location and time
Registration details note an opening date of June 14 and reduced fees for preregistration by September 20. In-person registration fees are listed at $25 and the virtual option at $20. Participants receive a tee shirt while supplies last.
The 5K is professionally timed and awards are given for first through third place for men and women within age divisions. Age divisions run from under 8 through 80 and up. Additional event features include free on-site child care with activities, local vendors, music, and raffle prizes donated by local businesses.
