Event overview
The No Business 100 is a trail endurance race held in Jamestown, Tennessee, on October 24-25, 2025. The event is staged out of Pickett CCC Memorial State Park and is an official qualifier for the 2026 Western States Endurance Race. The race uses a single loop of about 100 miles with a total race cutoff of 34 hours. Each year the organizers reverse the direction of the course and award a special buckle to runners who complete the loop in both directions.
Course and logistics
The loop traverses the Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area and crosses the Tennessee-Kentucky state line. The course covers technical single-track trails with roughly 14,500 feet of ascent and an equal amount of descent. Along the route participants pass sandstone arches, rockhouses, overlooks, waterfalls, and abandoned farms and homesteads, including the No Business settlement. The event lists multiple staffed aid stations and volunteer roles for course marking, aid-station support, and course sweeping across defined sections. The race begins and ends at the group camp in Pickett CCC Memorial State Park (4605 Pickett Park Hwy, Jamestown, TN). Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
