No Business 100

The No Business 100 is a trail endurance event held in late October. The course consists of a single loop measuring approximately 100.62 miles through the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area. The race starts and finishes at the Group Camp within Pickett CCC Memorial State Park in Tennessee.

The route traverses technical single-track trails across state lines, moving from Tennessee into Kentucky before returning. This course features approximately 14,500 feet of total elevation gain. Runners encounter various scenic landmarks and geological features, including sandstone arches, rockhouses, waterfalls, and overlooks. The path also leads through historical sites such as abandoned farms and the No Business settlement.

The event organization reverses the direction of the course every year. Participants who complete the race in both directions are eligible for a special award buckle. The 2026 edition serves as a qualifying race for the 2027 Western States Endurance Race.
