NM Enchantment Run
The NM Enchantment Run is an athletic event held in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The event features an out-and-back course that traverses the roads and ditch banks of the North Valley Bosque. Participants can choose from several distances:
- 15K
- 10K
- 5K
The races begin at Reginald Chavez Elementary and conclude at Bike In Coffee at Old Town Farm. The finish area includes a flower garden, a deck, and a shaded area with trees. All courses are professionally timed using a chip system with a disposable bib tag. The 15K distance has a designated course cutoff of 2.5 hours.
Registration includes a race logo shirt, water and Powerade stations along the route, and a finisher medal for all participants. A well-stocked refreshment table is provided at the finish line, and an optional brunch is available for purchase. Gear check services are provided at the start area with pickup available at the finish.
Awards are presented to the top three overall finishers and winners in various age groups for the 15K, 10K, and 5K categories. Age brackets for the awards range from 19 and under up to 80 and over, with younger categories starting from age six for the 5K. Proceeds from the event support youth running programs in New Mexico through a nonprofit organization. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
