NJ Turnpike Five
The NJ Turnpike Five is a 5K race held on the New Jersey Turnpike at Exit 15X Helix in Secaucus on September 26, 2026. The course is an out and back route that goes up the helix, continues toward the tollbooths, and returns to the start area.
Entry for the event is $40 and includes an event t shirt, race bib, and finisher medal. These items are available for pickup on race day. Awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals.
Funds raised support Special Olympics New Jersey. Special Olympics New Jersey provides year round sports training, competition, leadership opportunities, and health screenings to thousands of athletes. Programs and services are offered at no cost to participants thanks in part to fundraising events. Example allocations noted for fundraising include $25 to cover the cost of ten Special Olympics gold medals, $50 to send one athlete to Fall Games, and $100 to provide one adaptive bowling ramp.
