NJ Halloween Half Marathon, 10K and 5K
The event takes place at Overpeck Park Amphitheater in Ridgefield Park, NJ, within Overpeck County Park in Bergan County. It offers in-person and virtual race options and is organized as looped courses around the park’s lake.
Distances offered include:
- Half Marathon: 13.1 miles, four 3.27 mile loops
- 10K: two 3.1 mile loops
- 5K: one 3.1 mile loop
In-person races are chip timed, with real-time splits for each loop and live online tracking so spectators can follow progress. Race-day services include support stations that supply water, Gatorade, and energy gels at points placed to provide access approximately every mile. Video and images from the race are uploaded within two hours after the finish.
Packet pick up for in-person races is on race day only. Amenities listed for both in-person and virtual entrants include a technical T-shirt or unique runner’s jersey and a die-cast finisher medal. Awards include overall top three male and female finishers and age group medals for top three male and female athletes in age groups from 14-19 through 70-74.
