NipMuck Trail Marathon
The NipMuck Trail Marathon is scheduled for October 4, 2026 in Ashford, CT and is organized by the Shenipsit Striders. The event includes a full trail marathon and a relay option, with registration offers listed between USD 53.50 and USD 76.87.

The marathon follows a 13 mile segment of the 36 mile Nipmuck Trail, starting on Perry Hill Road in Ashford. The course runs south about 6.2 miles to Route 44 and back to the start, then north about 7 miles to Boston Hollow Road and back to the finish at Perry Hill Road. The trail surface includes rocks, roots, mud, and wood bridges. Organizers note that roughly 60% of running time will occur in the second half of the race because of hills and slightly more distance on that segment. The race uses course cutoffs at the midpoint, at the second turnaround, and at the finish.
