The event takes place at Mansfield Hollow State Park, picnic area, off Bassetts Bridge Road in Mansfield, Connecticut. Distances offered:

Course details
The 15-Miler is an out-and-back route that runs mostly on the Nipmuck Trail and follows the Fenton River for much of the course. The route includes three water stops, support at road crossings, small bridge crossings, a climb to a 50-foot cliff, fields, and woods. The 15-Miler finishes near Old Turnpike Road by Route 44.
The 5K is a new course contained within Mansfield Hollow State Park with no road crossings. It begins with an opening section, then a runnable single-track one-mile forest loop, a half-mile on the Flood Line Trail, technical sections on the Blue Trail, and a Yellow Trail detour before the final loop. The last mile includes several hills. The course will be marked with flagging and signs.
Logistics and beneficiaries
Registration opens January 1, 2026. Pre-registration is recommended; race day registration is accepted at a higher price and is cash only. Race shirts are available as an add-on during registration and must be ordered before May 22. Parking is at or near the start/finish area; participants are asked to follow volunteer instructions.
Proceeds support Connecticut trail stewardship organizations, including the Connecticut Forest and Park Association, Joshua’s Trust, and Northern Connecticut Land Trust. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
