About the race
The Nijmeegse Nieuwjaarsloop is the oldest running event in Nijmegen, taking place on the first Sunday of the new year. Organized by AV Cifla, it features a scenic course through the Heumensoord forest with distances of 1250m, 5km, and 10km. This event offers a festive and healthy way to kick off the running year after the New Year's celebrations.
Participants receive a personalized bib number, electronic timing, and a delicious Oliebol at the finish. Registration is open until January 3, 2025, with a small fee for participation.
