Night of the Dead Mud Run
The Night of the Dead Mud Run is a nighttime 5k mud run scheduled for October 17-18, 2026 in Oak Harbor, Ohio (7870 OH-163, 43449). The course includes more than 20 obstacles, many of which offer a "challenge" side and an "Xtreme" side. The event will feature illuminated sections and themed, spooky scenes on the course. The run is not officially timed, though participants can view their overall completion time.
Event details
Registration includes an event T-shirt, a wristband, and a medal. Participants who register within the first four waves may choose to run the course a second time for an additional $5 and will receive a different wristband if they do. Entry price is listed at $40, with a price increase scheduled after January 5, 2026. The event is offered as part of the Black Swamp Series, which provides a $10 discount per event when bundled. The organizers plan giveaways and raffles and list multiple sponsors; 10% of event proceeds will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities.
