Night of the Dead Mud Run
Night of the Dead Mud Run is a night time mud run held in Oak Harbor, Ohio at 7870 OH-163 on October 17 to 18, 2026. The event features a 5K course with more than 20 obstacles. Many obstacles offer two options, a challenge side and an Xtreme side, so participants can choose different routes through the course. The course will be lit for night running and will include themed spooky scenes and occasional surprises because the event takes place two weeks before Halloween.
The event is not officially timed, though participants can view an overall completion time. Registration includes an event T-shirt, a wristband, and a medal. Participants who register within the first four waves have the option to run the course a second time for an additional $5; those who choose this option receive a different wristband. The event organizer plans multiple giveaways and raffles and is partnering with several sponsors, including Ronald McDonald House Charities.
