Night of the Dead Mud Run : Oak Harbor, OH
The Night of the Dead Mud Run is a nighttime obstacle run held in Oak Harbor at 7870 OH-163. The course is approximately 5k and includes more than 20 obstacles. Many obstacles offer two options: a "challenge" side and an "Xtreme" side.
The course will be lit for running after dark and includes themed, spooky elements timed to occur about two weeks before Halloween. The event is not officially timed, but participants can view an overall completion time.
Registration entitles participants to an event T-shirt, a wristband, and a medal. Participants who register within the first four waves have the option to run the course a second time for an additional $5; those who choose this option receive a different wristband.
Organizers plan giveaways, raffles, and sponsor partnerships. The event lists Ronald McDonald House Charities among its sponsors and designates 10% of proceeds to that charity.
