Night Crawler Endurance Challenge : Casper Mountain, WY
The Night Crawler Endurance Challenge is a time-based overnight trail event held Aug 14-15, 2026 on Casper Mountain. The event is staged at the Nordic stadium near the Casper Mountain Trails Center at 9301 Casper Mountain Rd. The course runs on forested trails near the 8,100-foot summit area.
Race formats offered:
- 12 hour solo
- 4 hour solo
- 12 hour 4-person relay
Participants may run and rest as they choose during their allotted time window. The event records finisher awards for all participants and does not use DNF designations. The first 50 registrants are guaranteed a race souvenir. Top overall female and male 4 hour and 12 hour solo finishers, plus the top 12 hour 4-person relay team, will receive awards. An awards ceremony follows the race in the start/finish/crew area.
For 2026 the event is presented in partnership with WYRun and Fat Fish Racing. The weekend includes the Bear Bait 8 XC mountain bike race on Aug 15. Online registration closes Aug 12, 2026. Late registration is available at packet pick-up on Aug 13 at Complete Physical Therapy, 2948 Hogan Dr., for an additional fee; there is no race day registration.
