Night Crawler Endurance Challenge
The Night Crawler Endurance Challenge is an overnight time-based trail event held August 14–15, 2026 on Casper Mountain near Casper, WY. WYRun and Fat Fish Racing are partners for the tenth edition of the event, which is based at the Nordic stadium near the Casper Mountain Trails Center at 9301 Casper Mountain Rd.
The event offers multiple participation formats:
- 4 hour solo
- 12 hour solo
- 12 hour 4-person relay
The course runs on forested trails atop the roughly 8,100-foot mountain. A single lap is approximately 9.4 miles with about 1,200 feet of elevation gain; this route is approximate and organizers provide a GPX file for the exact course. The format is time based, so participants complete as many laps as they choose within their selected time block.
Online registration closes Wednesday, Aug 12, 2026. Late registration is available at packet pick-up on Aug 13 for an additional $5 (cash or check); there is no race day registration. The first 50 registrants are guaranteed a race souvenir. Every participant receives a finisher award and top overall female and male in each solo division and the 12 hour relay receive awards. Participants may rest between laps and are not required to run for the full duration; organizers ask to be notified if a participant stops early.
