Night Crawl 5K
The Night Crawl 5K is the 17th annual run presented by the Catawba Valley Association of Realtors and is scheduled for October 17, 2026, in downtown Newton, North Carolina. The event is an in-person 5K run, walk, or crawl that raises funds for the Elementary School Back Pack Programs of Caldwell and Catawba Counties.
The race course is certified with course number NC22009DF. Registration opens on April 17, 2026, and closes on September 29, 2026. Standard registration fees listed in event materials include $30 for the regular 5K, $25 for students, and a separate registration option to purchase a shirt only for $20. Early registration is available until October 1 and shirts are guaranteed for early registrants; a late registration fee of $35 is noted for later sign-ups.
Packet pickup and late registration are available at the Corner Table in Newton from 4:30 pm until 6:30 pm and at the Newton Recreation Center from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Students age 18 and under and college students may be asked to show proof of student status at packet pickup. Participants receive a goodie bag, and sponsorship packages include company logo placement on the race shirt and on printed materials and media.
