Niagara Falls International Marathon
The Niagara Falls International Marathon takes place on October 25, 2026 in Niagara Falls, Ontario. All race events occur entirely in Canada. Distances offered include:
- 5 km
- 10 km
- Half marathon
- Marathon
The start line is on Fallsview Boulevard between Murray Street and Robinson Street. The 10K, half marathon, and marathon routes pass the Skylon Tower and run toward the falls, then continue onto the Niagara Parkway. Runners pass Rapidsview Park, travel through Kingsbridge, cross the bridge at Chippawa, and follow a flat, scenic section along the Niagara River before turning around on the Parkway. The finish line for all races is on Stanley Avenue in front of the Niagara Falls Convention Centre.
To manage tourist traffic, the first 3.5 km of the course must be completed within 45 minutes; this checkpoint is strictly enforced. The marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifying event.
Aid stations are provided with a minimum of 13 stops, with water and Gatorade at every station and nutrition roughly at 10 km, 20 km, and 31 km. Race services include a technical race T-shirt, finisher medal, official timing, post-race food, and baggage check. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
