NHS Color Run & Walk 2026
The National Honor Society at Harts Bluff Early College High School organizes the Color Fun Run in Mount Pleasant, Texas. This event serves as a fundraiser for two organizations: Childbuilders, which focuses on mental health and abuse prevention for children, and HungrySouls, an organization addressing food insecurity.
Participants follow a designated course at the Harts Bluff ISD Campus while being doused with vibrant, non-toxic, and biodegradable colored powders at various stations. The event is designed for both runners and walkers and focuses on community engagement and physical activity.
Participants are advised to wear white clothing and shoes that can be stained by the powder. For those who register by the kit deadline, a t-shirt and sunglasses are provided. On-site facilities for cleaning include fans and leaf blowers to help remove dust after the activity. It is suggested that attendees bring towels and baby wipes for further cleaning of the skin and to protect their vehicles for the journey home.
