New Zealand 10km Road and Walks Championships : New Plymouth, 29 August 2026
The 2026 ASB New Zealand 10km Road and Walks Championships take place in New Plymouth at Lake Rotomanu on 29 August 2026. The event includes national championship races and non-championship community races across multiple distances, plus road walks for a range of age grades.
Championship races are open to registered members of Athletics New Zealand affiliated clubs across age grades from Under 14 through to Masters 35+. Course maps are provided for the 10 km and the walks courses. The route is described as a flat, fast course. The 5 km open race takes place on closed roads. Some championship categories have a course cut off of 1 hour 10 minutes.
