Mastercard New York Mini 10K Women’s Race
The Mastercard New York Mini 10K is a women’s road race held in Central Park on Saturday, June 6, 2026. Founded in 1972 and named after the miniskirt, this is the 54th running of the event and it covers a distance of 10K. The course begins on Central Park West just north of West 90th Street, proceeds south into Central Park at West 72nd Street, runs around the bottom of the park, continues north on East Drive, turns onto the 102nd Street Cross Drive, returns to West Drive and finishes near Bethesda Terrace via the 72nd Street Transverse.
Race logistics include bib pickup at the NYRR RUNCENTER at 320 West 57th Street on several days in late May and early June, with race-day pickup and bag check available near the Naumburg Bandshell in Central Park. Only clear bags up to 17" wide x 20" high x 7" deep are accepted for bag check.
The event is a World Athletics Label race and offers prize money for women across Open, USA, Wheelchair, NYRR Member, and NYRR Member 40+ categories; prize eligibility is subject to race rules and time standards. Course aid stations will provide water and Gatorade; post-finish provisions include water, Gatorade, apples, pretzels, and a recovery bag. A free Girls Run program for ages 8 to 18 is offered on race day. NYRR provides accessibility resources and a guide and support runner process for athletes with disabilities.
