Mastercard New York Mini 10K – Women's Race
The Mastercard New York Mini 10K is a women's road race held in Central Park in New York City. The 2026 edition takes place on Saturday, June 6 and marks the 54th running of the race. The event was founded in 1972 and was named after the miniskirt as a symbol of women’s liberation. The competition distance is 10K.
The race is a World Athletics Label event and operates under World Athletics rules. Prize money is awarded in multiple women-only categories, including Open, USA, Wheelchair, and NYRR Member divisions; eligibility for prize money requires completing the course in 42 minutes or faster. Awards are presented on site to the top three finishers in the overall women division, and age-group awards may be claimed after the race.
Logistics include number pickup at the NYRR RUNCENTER featuring the New Balance Run Hub at 320 West 57th Street, between Eighth and Ninth avenues. Proxy bib pickup is permitted with the account QR code and matching photo identification. Race-Day Central may be about 1 mile from the start corrals, so participants should allow time to travel. Bag check accepts only clear bags no larger than 17" x 20" x 7" with the tag affixed; NYRR is not responsible for lost or damaged items.
