New Pond Farm Hayfield Hustle
The New Pond Farm Hayfield Hustle takes place on September 26, 2026, at New Pond Farm Education Center in Redding, CT (101 Marchant Rd, 06896). The event benefits New Pond Farm Education Center, a nonprofit dairy farm and environmental education center focused on conservation and sustainable farming. The event includes the following entries:

Courses and Oktoberfest
The 5 Mile course runs along pastures with rolling hills, passes a waterfall view by the Mark Twain Library, and finishes through the dairy barn. The 5k is an out-and-back course across pastures and has a downhill finish through the dairy barn. The Children’s Sap Run takes place on the farm property and will be untimed.
Race registrations include entry to a family-friendly Oktoberfest on the farm. Oktoberfest activities include live music, a scavenger hunt across 102 acres of pasture and woodlands, games, hay rides, frosty beer, and food available for purchase.
