2027 New England Spartan Event Weekend
The 2027 New England Spartan Event Weekend takes place June 26–27 at Carter & Stevens Farm in Barre, MA. It is an obstacle course racing event that uses a working dairy farm setting with varied natural terrain and rolling trails.
The venue sits about 1.5 hours outside Boston and features dense, heavily shaded New England woods, open pastures, and active cornfields. Single-track forest trails include hidden roots, loose rocks, and sudden elevation changes that affect ankle stability and require concentration while moving over the course.
Race distances and formats include:
- Sprint: 5 km, 20 obstacles.
- Super: 10 km, 25 obstacles.
- Kids Race: 1-3 km with obstacles.
- Spectator access listed for June 26.
The Sprint entry shows an average duration of 1 h 32 m 12 s in event details. Listed pricing on event pages indicates sample starting prices for headline races and kids entries, and the event program references arrival information, heat times, volunteer opportunities, and finishers' awards.
