2027 New England Spartan Event Weekend
The event takes place June 26–27, 2027 at Carter & Stevens Farm in Barre, MA. It is held on a fourth generation working dairy farm about 1.5 hours outside of Boston and uses agricultural terrain rather than parkland.
The courses run through dense, heavily shaded New England woods, across open pastures, and over active cornfields. Single-track forest trails include hidden roots, loose rocks, and sudden, deceptive elevation changes that affect footing and require attention on uneven terrain.
Distances and formats available during the weekend:
- Sprint 5 km with 20 obstacles.
- Super 10 km with 25 obstacles.
- Kids Race 1–3 km plus obstacles.
- Spectator access available.
The Sprint shows an average completion duration of 1 h 32 m 12 s. Ticket starting prices listed for the event are shown as from $79 for the Sprint, from $105 for the Super, and from $29 for the Kids Race.
