Never Walk Alone in Orrville
Never Walk Alone is a community 5K project initiated by teenagers at the Orrville Area Boys and Girls Club to raise awareness about mental health. The event is presented as a reminder of individual value and the importance of togetherness within the city. Funds raised will support Erika’s Lighthouse, an organization that provides mental health services in Wayne County and beyond.
The event offers both a 5K run/walk and a 1 mile walk. It takes place at the Orrville Area Boys and Girls Club, 820 N Ella St, Orrville, Ohio. Registration fees range from $12 to $40 with tiered pricing through different signup periods.
Registrations include a t-shirt in youth small to large and adult small to 2X-large. A no-shirt option is available with a $5 discount. Shirt availability may be limited after July 12.
Awards are provided for the 5K and 1 mile walk. The 5K honors the top overall woman and man and the top woman and man in each age group 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. The 1 mile walk recognizes the top overall woman and man. Race registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
