Nettleden Duathlon
The Nettleden Duathlon is held on 12 September 2026 in the grounds of Nettleden Lodge near Berkhamsted and is organised by a group of friends from Aldbury. The event format comprises a 6 km run, a 24 km cycle and a further 6 km run. Participants may enter as individuals or as members of a relay team. Both running legs follow the same route.
Refreshments such as tea, coffee and cake are available in the morning and a barbecue is provided after the event. A series of children’s fun races is held on the Nettleden Lodge grounds, with different year groups from ages 4 to 14 completing loops well away from public roads. The kids events are free and can be entered on the day; they are scheduled to take place after the duathlon prize giving.
The duathlon raises funds for three charities, including Cancer Research UK and Harrisons Fund, with an additional charity referenced at hyh.org.uk.
