Netley 10K 2026
Netley Abbey Runners, in collaboration with Hound Parish Council, stage the Netley 10K at Royal Victoria Country Park, Netley Abbey, Southampton SO31 5DQ. The event is currently full; 750 entries have been recorded and a waiting list is available.
The course is a single lap with undulating terrain that combines park paths and quiet village roads. The route is traffic free and fully marshalled. Accurate chip timing is used and every finisher receives a commemorative memento.
Race headquarters is located in the field by the chapel and the start and finish lie close to this area. Marshals will direct competitors to free parking in the park BBQ fields while main park car parks are reserved for normal park users. Organisers ask visitors to car share, use public transport or cycle where possible. There are no changing facilities apart from public toilet blocks.
Event rules and safety notes include a UKA licence number and course accuracy certificate. Only bone conducting headphones that sit in front of the ear are permitted; other in ear or on ear devices are not allowed. Dogs, baby joggers, strollers, skateboards, sticks, rollerblades, unauthorized bicycles and other wheeled devices are not permitted on the course. The event is not suitable for wheelchair athletes.
Prizes are awarded to overall male and female finishers and to specified age categories. Entry fees differ for UKA affiliated and non affiliated runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
