Netley 10K 2026
The Netley 10K is an organized running event held in Netley Abbey, Southampton. Organized by the Netley Abbey Runners in collaboration with the Hound Parish Council, the race is part of the Hampshire Road Race League. The event takes place at the Royal Victoria Country Park and follows a single-lap course that winds through the park and the local village.
The route consists of an undulating course that combines park paths and village roads. The entire course is traffic-free and managed by marshals to ensure participant safety. The race is officially licensed by UKA and features an accurately measured distance with a certificate of course accuracy. Participants receive accurate timing through the use of chips attached to their race numbers, which are collected on the day of the event at the Race HQ located near the chapel.
Available distances:

The event is open to runners aged 15 and older. While the course is fully marshalled, it is not suitable for wheelchair athletes, and the use of dogs, baby strollers, or other wheeled devices is prohibited. Bone conducting headphones are the only type of headphones permitted during the run. Facilities at the venue include toilet blocks and free parking in designated fields. All participants who complete the course receive a memento. Trophies are awarded to the top three male and female finishers, as well as winners in various age categories ranging from senior to V70.
