Netley 10K 2026
The Netley 10K 2026 takes place on Sunday, 17th May. The event is organized by Netley Abbey Runners in collaboration with Hound Parish Council.
The route is a single-lap, undulating 10 km course that starts and finishes in Royal Victoria Country Park near Netley Abbey, Southampton. The course winds through the village of Netley Abbey, using scenic park paths and quiet village roads. The organizers state the route is completely traffic-free and fully marshalled for safety.
The event features accurate chip timing. Awards and trophies are presented for overall and age category winners. All finishers receive a special memento.
Free parking is available in designated BBQ fields within the park, with marshals providing direction. Participants are encouraged to car share, use public transport, or cycle where possible. Toilet facilities are available, with the main block opening at 8:00 am. No changing facilities are provided.
Registration closes at 10:00 on Thursday, 15th May. The event has a UKA race license. Only bone-conducting headphones that fit in front of the ears are permitted; headphones that sit in or on the ears are not allowed. The event is not considered safe for wheelchair athletes. Participants must be aged 15 or over on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
