Event overview
Netley 10K 2026 is a road race scheduled for Sunday 17 May 2026. The race distance is 10K. The course is a single-lap, undulating route that starts in Royal Victoria Country Park and passes through the village of Netley Abbey. The route uses park paths and quiet village roads, is traffic-free and fully marshalled. Accurate chip timing will be used and race numbers with timing chips are collected on the day from Race HQ.
Practical information, rules and prizes
Venue: Royal Victoria Country Park, Netley Abbey, Southampton SO31 5DQ. Race HQ will be located in the field by the chapel. Marshals will direct competitors to free parking in the designated BBQ fields; the main park car parks are to be kept for normal park users. Organisers request car sharing, public transport or cycling where possible. Toilet blocks are available.
Entry fees are: UKA affiliated £20, non-affiliated £22, plus a booking fee of £1.25. Transfers are possible and must be completed by midnight Tuesday 13th May; a non-UKA member taking a UKA member place will need to pay the supplement.
Only bone-conduction headphones that sit in front of the ear are permitted. Dogs, baby joggers, strollers, skateboards, sticks, rollerblades, unauthorized bicycles and other wheeled devices are not permitted; the event is not safe for wheelchair athletes. UKA License number is TBC; Certificate of Course Accuracy: cert25-193. All finishers will receive a memento. Trophies and prizes will be awarded to overall male and female 1st-3rd and first place in senior and V40, V45, V50, V55, V60, V65 and V70 categories. Age requirement: 15 or older on race day.
