Netley 10K 2026 : Royal Victoria Country Park and Netley Abbey
Netley 10K is organized by Netley Abbey Runners in collaboration with Hound Parish Council. The race starts in Royal Victoria Country Park and follows a single-lap, undulating route that uses park paths and quiet village roads through Netley Abbey. The course is traffic-free and fully marshalled. Accurate chip timing is used and race numbers with timing chips are available for collection on the day from Race HQ, which will be open from 8:00. All finishers receive a commemorative memento.
Venue details note Royal Victoria Country Park, Netley Abbey, Southampton SO31 5DQ. Marshals will direct competitors to free parking in the BBQ fields; the main park car parks are to be left for normal park users. Organisers advise car sharing, public transport or cycling where possible. There are no changing facilities apart from toilet blocks; the main toilet block opens at 8:00.
The event holds UKA Licence number 30587 and a Certificate of Course Accuracy cert25-193. In accordance with UKA rules, entrants must be aged 15 or over on race day. Only bone conduction headphones are permitted; headphones that sit in or on the ears are not allowed. Dogs, baby joggers, strollers, wheelchairs, skateboards, rollerblades and unauthorized bicycles are prohibited on the course; the event is not suitable for wheelchair athletes. The event is sold out; a waiting list is available. Netley 10K is part of the Hampshire Road Race League.
