Neon Nights Sprinkle Sprint
The Neon Nights Sprinkle Sprint is a community running event held at Paragon Place in Marksville, Louisiana. This event features two distinct distances to accommodate different participants:
- 5 km Neon Nights Sprinkle Sprint
- 1 mile fun run
The 1 mile fun run is specifically open to participants aged 12 and under. The event serves as a benefit for the Avoyelles Society for the Developmentally Disabled (ASDD), also known as Silver Linings. This nonprofit organization provides vocational training for adults with developmental disabilities including participation in the Silver Linings Pie Company and Silver Linings Sweets & More.
Participants are encouraged to wear neon or glow items during the race. Such items are also available for purchase at the venue. For convenience, packet pickup is scheduled for both the day before the event and on the day of the race itself. The course is located at 711 Paragon Place.
