Nelson Family Vineyards Wine Run 5k
The Nelson Family Vineyards Wine Run 5k is a chip-timed 5k race held at Nelson Family Vineyards in Ukiah, CA on April 18, 2026. The course starts and finishes at the winery and follows a mixture of roads and trails that pass through the vineyard property.
Race registration includes a T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal, a chip-timed race bib, and an on-site pour of wine. Results are timed and posted online by J3 Timing. Free race photos are available for download.
The event uses ten-year age categories and will award custom age group awards to the top three finishers in each category; age group medals must be picked up on the day of the event and are not available for shipment. The event is open to a wide age range; minors may register at a reduced rate but do not receive a wine glass or a wine pour.
Packet pickup is available on race day only and opens one hour before the event. A virtual participation option is offered; virtual participants may pick up a packet or arrange to have a packet shipped for an additional fee. A food truck, Farola Empanadas Argentinas, is scheduled to be on site. The event lists the Humane Society for Inland Mendocino County as a local charity partner.
