Nebraska State Fair Marathon
The Nebraska State Fair Marathon will be held on August 29, 2026, at the Nebraska State Fairgrounds in Grand Island, Nebraska. This is the event's 12th year and it takes place alongside the State Fair, with a post-race celebration on the fairgrounds.

- Marathon Relay (4-person teams)
- 5K
- 1-Mile Kids Run
- Push Rim Wheelchair
- Handcycle
The full marathon course is certified as a Boston Qualifier. The marathon course has a six-hour time limit. Relay teams compete in four-person teams; for award eligibility coed teams must include at least two women.
Participants receive a commemorative finisher medal and a custom event shirt. Marathon, half marathon and relay entrants receive a gender-specific long sleeve technical shirt; 5K and 1-Mile participants receive a short sleeve soft shirt. Entry also includes admission to the Nebraska State Fair and post-race snacks and beverages, plus one complimentary alcoholic (21+) or non-alcoholic beverage at bars across the grounds.
Race-day logistics note free parking for athletes and spectators in the northwest parking lot off State Fair Boulevard; attendees should enter the fairgrounds via the Main Gate.
