Nebraska State Fair Marathon : August 29, 2026
The Nebraska State Fair Marathon takes place at the Nebraska State Fairgrounds in Grand Island, Nebraska, as part of the State Fair. Races start and finish on the fairgrounds and conclude with a post-race celebration amid fair activities. The full marathon course is certified and serves as a Boston qualifier. The marathon course is open for six hours.
Race options include a variety of distances and adaptive divisions:

- Push Rim Wheelchair
- Handcycle
Every participant receives a commemorative finisher medal, a custom event shirt (gender specific long sleeve tech shirts for Marathon, Half Marathon and Relay; short sleeve shirts for 5K and 1 Mile), admission to the Nebraska State Fair, post-race snacks and beverages, and one free alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage for attendees aged 21 and over at the fairground bars. Relay teams are four people; coed award-eligible teams must include at least two women.
Free parking for athletes and spectators is provided in the Northwest parking lot off State Fair Boulevard, with entry to the grounds through the Main Gate on State Fair Boulevard. Spectator tickets are required to view the race start and finish and are available in advance; a password for discounted tickets is included in participant confirmation communications.
