41st Nature Made Great Race
The Nature Made Great Race is an established running event held in Agoura Hills, California. First organized in 1986, the event features a variety of distances held on both road and trail surfaces. The courses are USATF certified and sanctioned, taking participants through the scenic landscapes of Southern California and finishing at Chumash Park.
The event offers several individual race distances and multi-race challenges:
- Chesebro Half Marathon (~8 miles of trail and 5 miles of road)
- Deena Kastor 5K (road)
- Old Agoura 10K (road)
- 15K Double Stack Challenge (10K + 5K)
- Cronies 10.3 Mile Triple Stack Challenge (10K + 5K + 1 Mile)
- United Track 1 Mile (run/walk for all ages)
Participants receive a premium technical running top in a choice of short or long sleeves, a custom-designed drawstring goodie bag, and a commemorative finisher's medal. Those completing the 10 Mile or 15K challenges receive two medals. The event utilizes RFID timing for live results and includes photographers along the route.
The race environment includes a Sports and Fitness Expo, numerous aid stations, and a post-race gathering featuring food and music.
