Nature Coast 100K: Chiefland, Florida
The Nature Coast event offers trail ultramarathon distances on the paved Nature Coast State Trail through rural north-central Florida. The event includes fully supported race options and a rucking division on the same course.

The start and finish are at the College of Central Florida, Jack Wilkinson Levy Campus, 15390 NW US Highway 19, Chiefland, FL 32626. Free parking is available on site; participants are asked to follow volunteer directions when arriving. All participants have 24 hours to complete their event.
The course follows the Nature Coast State Trail through historic railroad corridors and communities such as Chiefland, Trenton, Cross City, and Fanning Springs. The trail features smooth pavement, oak hammocks, pine forests, wetlands, and views of the Suwannee River region. Wildlife in the area includes deer, wild turkey, gopher tortoises, hawks, and Gulf sturgeon.
Multiple fully stocked aid stations and a central aid hub provide water, electrolyte drink, snacks, basic first aid, and restrooms at select locations; participants should carry hydration between stations. Pacers are permitted after 12:00 PM on race day and must check in with race staff; pacers may only enter or leave the course at designated aid stations and may not carry required participant equipment.
Ruck division rules require a minimum dry ruck weight (women 20 lbs, men under 150 lbs 20 lbs, men over 150 lbs 30 lbs), verification of dry weight, and continuous carrying of the ruck to receive an official ruck finish.
The event does not issue refunds; rollover credit is available on a sliding scale based on how far in advance the rollover is completed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
