Nature Calls Trail Race
Nature Calls Trail Race is a low-key, no-frills, low-cost social race, run, and hike held at Lula Lake Land Trust near Chattanooga, TN. The event does not offer awards and is presented as a community-oriented outing on trail terrain.
Distances:
- 15K trail course with rope section and descent to Lula Falls
- 5K easy trail course
Both courses are entirely on trails. The 5K is described as very easy for the area. The 15K follows the High Adventure trail and includes technical portions, a rope section, and a difficult trail that goes down to the bottom of Lula Falls.
Hikers are welcome if they can maintain a 16 minute mile pace. Cutoff times are 50 minutes for the 5K and 3 hours for the 15K. After the run and hikes, post-race snacks and beverages are provided.
