Event
The Nags Head Sunrise Beach Race will be held at Jennette's Pier in Nags Head, North Carolina. The event offers two distances:
- 5k
- 1 Mile
The event is chip timed and provides finisher medals and Summer Series shirts to all participants. The entry fee includes an event t-shirt and post-race cold breakfast and refreshments. Adult registration is listed at $45 and youth (17 and under) at $40.
Details
The 5k awards top male and female finishers 1st through 3rd overall, plus 1st place male and female in the 14-and-under category and 1st place male and female in the Masters 40-and-over category. There is no pre-race day packet pickup; late registration and walk-up packet pickup are available on the morning of the race at the race location. The course takes place along the beaches of the Outer Banks, using the shores near Jennette's Pier at 7223 S Virginia Dare Trail, milepost 16.5, Nags Head, NC 27959.
