Mystic Half Marathon and 10K
The Mystic Half Marathon and 10K take place in the Mystic shoreline community and follow a route from Olde Mistick Village, past historic ships, through downtown to a finish at Mystic Aquarium. The event offers in-person and virtual race options and includes a family FitKids run.
Distances:
- 13.1 miles half marathon
- 6.2 miles 10K
- 0.5 mile kids run
- 1 mile kids run
All in-person participants receive a short sleeve technical shirt and a custom designed finisher medal tied to the event theme. The event is part of the Spring Shoreline Challenge, a multi-race series that includes the Rocky Neck Runfest in April, this Mystic race in May, and the L+M Hospital Summer Stride in June. A special Spring Shoreline Challenge commemorative medal is presented in New London at the Summer Stride.
The race offers a Run for Good option that allows participants to select and support a local charity through donations, participation, or volunteering. HMF FitKids provides run options for children ages 2 to 11. The Hartford Marathon Foundation, a non-profit organization, produces this and more than 30 other races across Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts, including 5K, 10K, 10 mile, half marathon, marathon, triathlon and trail events.
