Mutt Strut 2026
Mutt Strut 2026 is the ninth annual 5K run and walk taking place on August 29, 2026 at Hermitage Park Picnic Site 1 in Edmonton, Alberta. The event is offered in person and as virtual options for local and remote participants.
The in person event follows a 5 km route through the park and permits leashed dogs. Participants are asked not to use prong collars, choke chains, or other aversive training tools during the event. All participants receive a finisher medal, and registrants who sign up by August 1 are guaranteed an event t shirt in their preferred size.
Virtual options include a local virtual entry that comes with a swag bag available for pickup until September 20, and a remote virtual entry that does not include a swag bag. Early race kit pickup is available at the Running Room - 109 Street.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Greater Edmonton Animal Rescue Society (GEARS) to support animal rescue and rehoming. Sponsorship opportunities are available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
