The Museum Miles Race through History 5K is a fundraising race that starts and finishes at the Oktibbeha County Heritage Museum in Starkville, Mississippi. The route goes through Starkville’s Historic District, the downtown area, and the Cotton District. The event lists the following course options:

Logistics and rules

The start and finish area is at 206 Fellowship Street, Starkville, MS 39759. Pre-registered participants could pick up race packets on Friday, February 20, from 4:00–6:00pm at the Oktibbeha County Heritage Museum; on race day, packet pickup is available at the race site beginning early in the morning. Photo ID is required to collect a packet. Day-of registration is allowed for an additional fee, though event shirts may be limited.

Water will be available at the start and finish only; no water stations are provided on the course, so participants are encouraged to bring personal hydration. Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted, but the course includes some small hills. Awards are given for overall male and female and for 1st to 3rd place in the listed age groups.
