Muncy Monster Dash 5k
The Muncy Monster Dash is the 16th annual community run held on October 31, 2026, beginning at Ward L. Myers Elementary School at 125 New Street, Muncy, PA 17756. The course runs through the historic town of Muncy and uses a looped route with route guides stationed along the way.
Distances offered
- 5k (3.1 miles) timed or untimed
- Kids 1 mile primarily for students 12 and under
The 5k allows strollers and does not allow pets. The Kids 1 mile includes optional obstacles on the first loop; adults may accompany children if needed, and parents are responsible for their children’s safety. Timing for the event is provided by Falcon Race Timing and awards include cash and gift card prizes for top timed finishers in specified age groups.
Registration fees change by date: early rates, mid-period rates, and higher fees close to event day. The last day to receive a free long sleeve shirt with registration is October 10. Packet pick up is available the Thursday before the event in the school conference room and on race morning; packets may be picked up by friends or family if the organizer is notified in advance.
Proceeds support Ward L. Myers Elementary School programs and supplies, including field trips, school shirts, dances, Santa Shop, holiday art contest prizes, the spelling bee, concerts and assemblies, field day, exterior banners, and end of year activities.
