Mullet Run 5K
The Mullet Run 5K is a fish-themed run/walk event held in Abacoa, Jupiter, Florida, with a base address at 1260 University Blvd., Jupiter FL 33458. The event is scheduled for February 2027 and features a 3.1 Miles course. Registration carries a fee of $40 and has defined opening and closing dates.
The first 150 registrants were offered a promotional premium "Mullet Run" Elevate Lightweight Tee provided by Free Fly Apparel. All 150 promotional shirts have been accounted for; subsequent registrations will not be asked for a shirt size. All participants are slated to receive a custom finisher medal and a swag bag, though same-day registration does not guarantee a finisher medal or race bag.
Packet pickup is organized at Civil Society Brewing in Downtown Abacoa. Bibs can also be collected near the start line on the morning of the event. Civil Society Brewing donated 50 free drink tickets to the first 50 people at pickup, one ticket per person, age 21 or older. Event activities include raffle prizes for participants and additional raffle tickets awarded to people who wear a mullet or a fish-themed outfit.
One hundred percent of proceeds from the event will be donated to acoustic telemetry research along the Treasure Coast through the American Saltwater Guides Association. ASGA is a fisheries non-profit that promotes science-driven management and supports expansion of acoustic receiver networks used to track marine animals and share tag data across a collaborative research network.
