One hundred percent of proceeds are designated for acoustic telemetry research and will be donated to the American Saltwater Guides Association (ASGA). ASGA is described as a fisheries non-profit that advocates science-driven management and conducts fisheries research. Funds will support an initiative to enhance the acoustic receiver network along the Treasure Coast; acoustic arrays record tagged animals and allow researchers to track movements of fish, dolphins, turtles, manta rays and other species, with recorded tag information shared in a collaborative network.
