Event overview
The Wye Valley Brewery Muddy Woody takes place on 8 February 2026 at Aconbury Court Farm, Aconbury, Hereford HR2 6PQ. The event returns for its 27th year with a new venue and a new course. The race is organised by Wye Valley Runners and has a total field of 300 places. Entry fees are £20.00 for affiliated runners and £22.00 for non-affiliated runners. Race details
The course is described as approximately 6-ish miles, mixing forestry and single-track terrain with some stiff hills and fast descents, all of which are stated to be runnable. Chip timing will be used, provided by Ready Set Go. Runners receive a bespoke Muddy T-shirt. Prizes will be awarded in the usual categories. Numbers are to be picked up on the day. Hot drinks and refreshments will be available. Parking is very close to the race headquarters (about 100-200 yards) and participants are asked to car share.
