Muddy Good Run - Christchurch
Muddy Good Run takes place at the Canterbury A&P Show Grounds in Hillmorton, Christchurch on 21 March 2027. The event builds a series of obstacles on a muddy course, including mud pits, slippery and water slides, cars to climb over and crawl under, containers to scale, hay bales, camo net crawls and cargo net climbs. All finishers receive a finisher's medal.
The event offers separate categories for adults, families and children. Adult entries include individual and team options; adult events have larger obstacles and a minimum age of 13 years. Family and children’s sections are designed with smaller obstacles and require an adult to accompany young children. Some events are not timed.
Distances:
- Adults: 5 km for individual and team events
- Children: 1.5 km fun run with mud pits and slides
- Junior KIDZ: 500 m for 4 to 6 year olds, parent or guardian runs with child
Children’s entries are limited; the Junior KIDZ category is capped at 200 participants. There is a separate children’s prize giving and an adult prize giving that includes best dressed judging and a race briefing prior to the adult races.
