About the race
Muddy Dash Kansas City takes place at Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, Missouri on June 12, 2027. The event is a family-friendly mud run held over a roughly 5K course that includes obstacles, mud pits, slides, and about a dozen designated "Muddy Moments." Mud pits are described as no deeper than waist deep. Costumes are allowed, and the event does not emphasize competition or timing.
A Pre-Party precedes the run and offers music, a DJ, dancing, and photo opportunities to warm up the crowd. Packet pick up is scheduled for June 11 at Valley Speedway, and there is a day-of option for race day pickup for a fee. Parking at the venue may include a cash-only charge up to $20; some venues may accept card payments instead. A bag check service is available at the event for a $5 fee paid on site.
Registration is offered in at least two packages. The Value registration includes a race bib, a finisher medal, and access to the mud pits. The VIP registration includes those value items plus VIP check-in, an event T-shirt, towel, drawstring bag, socks, and a silicone wristband. The event notes that kids are welcome and that rules apply for youth participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
