Muddy Dash - Kansas City
The Muddy Dash is an obstacle event held at the Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, Missouri. The course spans several miles and focuses on a non-competitive experience without official timing. Participants navigate the route by walking, running, crawling, wading, or sliding through various obstacles.
The course features approximately 12 specific stations, including mud pits. These pits are designed to be no deeper than waist-deep to ensure participants do not need to swim. The event organizers encourage the use of costumes during the run.
Registration options include:
- Value Registration: Includes a race bib, finisher medal, and access to the post-race party.
- VIP Registration: Includes all Value items plus a tour t-shirt, towel, drawstring bag, sunglasses, and a temporary tattoo.
Participants can register individually or as part of a team. Creating a team allows groups to be placed in the same wave time automatically. A bag check service is available on-site for a fee, and a festival area is accessible after the race. This area includes music, food vendors, and interactions with event sponsors. Spectators are permitted to attend the event and access the festival area at no cost. Packet pick-up is scheduled for the day before the event at the venue, with an additional fee for those who choose to collect their materials on the day of the race.
