Event overview
Mud Tribe is a muddy obstacle course run held at Nuclear Essex in Brentwood, Essex. The event features mud, foam and a range of obstacles designed to be achievable without upper body strength. Water obstacles are included but there is no full water submersion. Spectators are welcome and event access and fees vary by event.

The 1.5 km option is aimed at families and younger children. Approximate on-course durations are listed as about one hour for the 1.5 km and about two hours for the 5 km. Minimum ages are 4+ for the 1.5 km and 7+ for the 5 km. Children aged 4–15 on the 1.5 km must be accompanied by a paying adult; children aged 7–15 on the 5 km must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Facilities and extras
Included for participants are hot wash-downs, changing rooms, bag drop and a free finisher photo (additional photos available to purchase). Every participant receives a finisher medal. The event is presented as suitable for groups, families and charity fundraising. Entry prices are listed on the event page and vary by distance and date.
