Mud Tribe

Mud Tribe is an outdoor muddy obstacle course event held in Brentwood, Essex. The event combines mud and foam obstacles with an event village that includes music, face painting and a lively post-course area. It is presented as an accessible, non-timed obstacle experience with a variety of achievable challenges.

Participants can choose between two course options:

• 5km: age 7 plus, approximate duration 2 hours
• 1.5km: age 4 plus, approximate duration 1 hour

Obstacles are designed so that no upper body strength is required for completion and participants may proceed at their own pace; there is no chip timing. The course includes water obstacles but no full water submersion. Facilities after the course include hot wash downs, changing rooms, bag drop and a free finisher photo. Every participant receives a finisher medal. Under 15s must be accompanied by a paying adult.

The event notes support for charity fundraising and frames the experience as a shared activity for families, groups and teams. Mud Tribe is located in Brentwood, approximately 15 minutes from the A12, M25 and M11, and about 15 minutes from Brentwood station or Epping Underground station by train and taxi.
