Mud Tribe Obstacle Run
Mud Tribe is an obstacle course event located in Brentwood, Essex, situated approximately 15 minutes from the A12, M25, and M11. The venue is accessible via Brentwood station or Epping Underground station followed by a short taxi ride. The event is centered around a non-competitive atmosphere without chip timing, allowing participants to complete the course at their own pace.
The course features a wide variety of obstacles designed to be achievable without requiring upper-body strength. Participants can expect mud, foam, and water obstacles, though the route does not include full water submersion. Available distances include:
- 5 km: Open to participants aged 7 and older, with an expected duration of approximately two hours.
- 1.5 km: A shorter option for participants aged 4 and older, typically taking around one hour to complete.
Specific start times are designated for the Mud Tribe Sisters, a female-only wave within the 5 km distance. All participants between the ages of 4 and 15 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Amenities provided on-site include a bag drop service, hot wash-down stations, and changing rooms available after the run. Each finisher receives a medal and a digital finisher photo. The site also features an event village with music and face painting. Spectators are permitted at the venue, and well-behaved dogs on leads are allowed to attend.
