Mud Sweat and Cheers Challenge 2026
The Mud Sweat and Cheers Challenge takes place on December 6, 2026, at Blackrock Park in Woodlyn, Pennsylvania. The course is a trail run with new trails and new obstacles. A post-race hospitality tent will offer local craft alcoholic beverages for participants 21 and over; beverages are available to finishers and to other paid participants.
Distances and formats
- 5K: single loop, chip timed, run in heats, prizes for top male and female.
- Little Tykes Dash: 3 to 6 year olds on playing fields with obstacles; entry $20.
The 5K is run in heats spaced 20 minutes apart. The first heat is restricted to competitive runners over 18; other heats are mixed age groups. Heats have a capacity limit of 25 participants each. Parents may run with their children and coaches may run with their teams; participants can choose the same heat to run together.
There is a team discount: teams of 10 or more receive $10 off each individual registration fee. T-shirts are guaranteed for racers registered by November 29. Beer glasses are guaranteed for racers 21 and over registered by November 24. All proceeds benefit Ridley United Soccer Club.
